Is the tank in a room with a lot of activity?
Not much but going to buy a 50 gallon tank sometime next week.

When I bought my turtle I noticed his eyes were swollen and he wasn't very active. After much research I bought turtle fix and soak him daily, and directly feed him drops of vitamins. Just now while basking he started to do what seemed to me was gagging. I don't know what to do. There's no vets who will look at a turtle near by. I'm worried about my turtle please help me.

Was it like a croaking or yawn? They do that sometimes. Can you post a picture of the setup?

Well I don't think it wa a yawn or a croak since his head would bolt forward with mouth open while his front arms/claws would go ballistic. He looked like a cat trying to get a hair ball out. It was very scary to see.

Was the turtle up there for a long time when it happened? I'd try some live prey to entice him into eating. Is he a confirmed male or female?

Yes my turtles is basking for the majority of the day. Only dunks into the water a few times throughout the day. And I actually finally found a vet and turns out my Raphael is actually Raphaela. And I've bought small goldfish and red worms but neither have been successful. She's actually scared of the worm and stays clear of it.

Hold the fish by the tail and let it wiggle in front of her face, though in the future you should use minnows.
