Urgent Care :: What is this?

Hi recently I have been seeing these stringy white sort of transparent worm like things in my turtles tank I have seen her excreting them out from her anus I really am wooried about her/him. Its still under a year old so far I have set her tank on a lower temperature and been giving her lots of sunlight(I dont know if it makes a diffrence or not though ) I also have been keeping her diet high with protein for now .they come in diffrent sizes and some times there sort of segmented and some times there not plus some times i find peices of my turtles food inside them thats the most woorying thing currently since 5 days ago i have been putting her in warm shallow water (enough to cover her anus )with some salt in it for 15 minutes but i dont belive its helping plus she/he really hates it .if could some body please tell me what is this and if there is another cure for this thing please specify im sorry for the long read but I really am wooried I would not know what I would do if I lost my turtle because of this

I can't tell what it is from the pics, but if it's segmented, it could be parasites. What does your turtle eat?

I give her a mix of commercial food(pellets) and some fresh veggies with a little natural protein occasionally as a treat but whatever it is I fully cook it since I have always been afraid of parasites I thought that maybe when I put her out in the backyard she caught something or maybe when I got her she came with them maybe this picture will be more clear?

If I had to identify it from that list than I would say a misc but I don't really think it is since I'm preety sure my turtle excreted it out of its anus plus I don't give her/him live food or plants yet since I got him looking very weak and I didn't want him to catch anything bad or get hurt from live prey I make sure his/her water is very clean and I only use pure drinking water in his/her tank so it wouldn't really make sense to me if it was a misc I also keep seeing traces of what I feed him inside the worm like things

If you can't be certain, then collect a sample and have a vet check it out... they'll have the equipment to get a real close look at it.

I just came back from the vet he told me to make him sit in iodine solution although I already told him I did that he told me to keep going and incase it doesnt work he also gave me an anti parasite med for fish i dont really know what to do know i dont want to waste any more time should i use the med first and see if it works ?sorry for the late reply by the way

Is she still excreting them? Maybe something else is and she's eating them?

Unfortunately yes she is still excreting them. I never saw her do that mainly because whenever I see them in her/his tank I immediately fully clean it and I often brush her completely before putting her in the feeding tank

It's almost pointless to treat if you're not sure what it is. What's the medication?
