Looks like some shedding... perhaps made to look worse due to some mineral deposits?

Okay so it isn't due to shell rot? I've applied the betadine on her, will thatmake it worse? (If it really seems the case that it ain't shell rot)

Also, what's mineral deposit?

Diluted Betadine shouldn't hurt.. but won't likely help. Mineral deposits is hard water build up. Does it go away when she's in the water?

I do notice that she has two ear abscesses! She needs to see a vet for that, but the procedure is simple for a good vet (lance, drain, extract). There is no home remedy for that.

It's the swollen cheeks where the "ears" are.

Omg thanks I'll find a vet asap. Vets are kinda rare where I'm at..

Oh back to the shell shedding issue, so if the whites disappear in the water?

I don't think the white stuff is a concern. If you can post larger/clearer pics then I might be able to evaluate it more thoroughly.

Is it necessary for flushing/antibiotics? Some of the first cases I've read about abscesses didn't often require this (I'm not debating your vet's treatment).

That I'm not sure eh but I'm sure the flushing was needed. The vet did it in front of me and there was a lot of hardened pus!
