I took my RES for an xray when I notice her digging her hind legs so I suspect she's gravid. The xray showed up 10-11 (?) Eggs.
After some time she started laying an egg, and another 3 eggs on another day then she didn't lay for 25 days. So I took her to the vet, and upon xray there was 5 eggs left in her abdomen. Vet helped to inject calcium and one hour later I injected oxytocin, to which she laid the remaining 5 eggs in her abdomen.
I was given a few doses of calcium to inject into her since her calcium was low from egg retaining. Some blood came out from injection site but it stopped soon after. When I was injecting her, she was scared and started peeing, some yolk like mucus and white mucus came out along with the pee and I am scared.
Could it be 1. An egg was broken in her abdomen but becos the shards was small it didn't show up on the xray, and thus she passed such yolk like material? 2. I accidentally poked one of her eggs, and now she is peeing out the yolk material from her body. (Could remnants of the yolk material left in her body lead to life threatening infections? )
Btw I was poking her butt cheek.
