Urgent Care :: My turtles left eye seems weird. Help?

What is the basking temperature? 90 degrees Fahrenheit
Is there a basking light? Yes
Is there a basking platform that is easy to climb on? Yes
What kind is it or what is it made out of? Rock material
Is there a UVB light? Yes

What have you been trying to feed it? Yes
When was the last time your turtle ate? Last night

How big is the tank/pond/enclosure?
Is the tank near a window? No
Is the tank in a room with a lot of activity? No

Have you read the Basic Care section? Yes
Have you searched the forums for similar situations? Yes

Is there any other unusual activity/symptoms None that i see, just his eye seems really weird.

Is you're UVB light new? 7 gallons for a 5 inch turtle sounds kind of small.

The light is new. Its a 10 gallon tank but its not filled all the way up.

Can you leave the UVB light off? What kind are you using?

I need to check. But i don't think its anything to do with my tank and layout. When i got the turtle it already had the eye like this.

The UVB might cause additional irritation during this time. Try looking into a couple of things... turtle eye-drops and some exposure to sunlight.

His eye is better now. I separated him from the other turtle. The other turtle kept biting him so i gave him to someone who could take care of him. Any idea why he would bite him though?

RES, especially males, are just more aggressive than most turtles. Being in a confined space only increases the chances of an incident.
