New to the forums, had a question:

Had 2 RES turtles for 10+ years now, noticed today that one of them has one eye swollen shut. I can see the eyeball under the swollen tissue, and I can't find any indication of a scratch. We clean the tank once a week and feed them Reptomin food sticks twice a day. I suspect that it may just be from getting kicked by the other turtle (they climb on each other frequently) but I don't
know much about this stuff. As far as I know he is eating normally but I am not usually there when they are fed. They have always seemed happy and healthy throughout the years. Any advice is appreciated.

Might have been injured. I'd temporarily separate them and use some Zoo Med Turtle Eye Drops. Did you recently do a water change? What about the UVB lamp? Is the other turtle a male?
