I'm new at turtle care, and I recently got a red eared slider turtle.

However, I noticed that my turtle was stationary in the water for a while. When I pulled it up, it didn't wake up immediately. I'm not sure if the legs are resisting me or not, and it does sink if I place it back in the water. I don't know what to do, or if I can conclude it's dead....
