Happy new year! My newest member to the family is Littlefoot. I adopted him from a reptile sanctuary in Tucson. I was told he is about 2 years old. I am in contact with the owner as far as making sure I am doing things correctly and have a good set up for my little guy. However, I bought turtle books, done my research and noticed that many times things are contradictory so I decided to join a forum to get ideas, and let me m is if I am doing things correctly for my little guy.

Welcome to the forum Littlefoot! The shell does look a bit rough, so I would first review the diet. Next would be to make sure the basking/water temperatures are in a good zone. Then look over the water quality/filtration. Finally check over what you have in the tank and out side of the tank.
