HI All

i adopted a female RES roughly 10 yrs of age. We named her Chloe!
They gave me partial setup and an waiting for the lamps via Amazon.
Ive never owned a turtle before. Ive done a ton of research but still have so many questions!

One thing ive noticed is she is constantly clawing at the glass! Is this the "feed me" behavior ive been reading anout?
I have pellets (am waiting on the gourmet feed from amazon) and have given her shredded carrots which she seems to love, but
she wont touch lettuce. Ive read to give the size of her head. So would that mean each item that quanity or IN total?!

Welcome to the forum! Which lamps did you purchase? It does sound like she is begging, but don't give in Look into getting a veggie clip, it helps when they are being stubborn about eating lettuce.

For her age, you can probably use pellets roughly 1/3 or 1/4 head size daily, depending on what else you're feeding her.
