First-time turtle Mom
Posted: Wed Jul 26, 2017 8:49 pmAfter browsing this forum for a week I finally decided to jump in. I have adopted a 7.5-year-old red-eared slider from a friend who has kept him in a 20 gallon tank, shallow water, and without any of the necessities or proper nutrition. We are currently setting up a 120 gallon for him and he should be in his new home within a few days. August 1 he has an appointment with a vet specializing in reptiles. Despite his life, he is a happy little optimist, and that is what made me fall in love with him. A new beginning will require a new name that time will reveal to us. In the m
