Steve,
This are the pellets I am using, they are the only reputable brand available locally.

https://app.box.com/s/q8ty0eovw4m4slvg0javuvh52gl5f9r8

Time line
(1) FEB16 each turtle recieved 12 pellets a day no veggies + shrimp + mini krill
(2) MAY16 cut down to 6 pellets a day for each turtle + veggies, no shrimp no krill
(3) JUN16 cut down to 3 pellets a day for each turtle + veggies no shrimp no krill

I have started to hand feed them to make sure they each get 3, since i feed both at once in thier tank i got me thinking if is eating the others ration.

I must be very annoying with all my question... But many thanks for all the help

I don't think there would be much of a difference between 3-6 pellets, maybe use some amount in between. You're not annoying, we're both trying to help your turtles :)

Steve,
I wanted to share a couple of pictures from my new setup, the turtle are 4.3 inches and 3.6 inches long
They used to be on a 10 gallon tank and 2 months ago where move to a 55 gallon tank filled al the way to the top

The setup:
1) 2 aqueon 100 gallon HOB filters, 1 DIY internal filter with bio media and lava rock
2) white and brown large river rocks as substrate as well as other big rock sonthe fishies can hide
3) 12 guppies and 5 platys which were suposed to be food for the turts but they chase them around and just dont seem to get them
4) an ATBA made of a egg crate with 1 UvB bulb and a 50 w halogen ligth bulb par30
5) they are fed 10 pellets each at nigth and lettuce or green bell pepers are fed on a clip every morning
You where correct, my smallest child was sneaking food to them. They currently on a veggie diet.
6) We think that both turtles are males cause they have very long tails but i am not 100% sure, maybe from the picture you can tell. They seem to be afraid of my phone so its hard to tale good picture

They seem to be happy with thier setup and i wanted to share with you since most of the ideas i got them from here.

Thanks Steve for all the help!

Nice job with the new setup. I couldn't make out the genders but I wasn't sure either were male. Has their shells improved?
