Hi everyone. I've had my read ear slider for a little over a year now. Along the way I have read of ways to care for my RES dropper, but I'm still very lost . I need as much help as I can get from you guys right now. I don't want to do anything that may put my girls life in jeopardy.

Sure. I have a 160 gallon tank that I fill up 3/4 full. I use a submersive fluva u4 (I am not really sure but I think thats the one). I have a floating basking platform and a reptile light buld (My UV light went dead). I hope this told you enough. Oh and the only diet I have her on is pellets. And I feed her twice daily.

Are you sure the tank is 160 gallons? What are it's dimensions? The U4 would be very underpowered for it. You are probably giving her too much pellets.

Sorry I meant to put 150 gallon tank. I have questioned if it was really 150 gallons and it has been suggested that I have a 90 gallon tank. I'm not sure how to find out exactly what size tank I have.

Take the measurements in inches, the formula is: Length x width x heigh then divide by 231

100+ gallons would be around the size of a bath tub. You only have the one turtle? Are you sure she's a girl?
