There are plenty of videos and links to other sites with additional contact info (addresses, phone numbers plus letter templates) though I have not linked them because they display those graphic videos. Just search "Snapperfest Indiana". This is someone's description of what takes place in those videos... "The frightened animals are grabbed by their tails and repeatedly slammed to the ground. Their heads are yanked from their shells, and they are then swung around until "contestants" are able to wrap their fists around the animals' necks."

I think we should all show up at next years event and have redneck fest. You know... where we take some of the rednecks from snapperfest, swing them around, throw them on the ground and put our hands around their necks. Of course it's all in good fun and none of the rednecks will get injured. @Brutal, I'm in Chicago obviously not too far from IN. Count me in.

I've read about this before... Yeah it happened this year. PETA failed. Actually they invited one member from PETA to watch the event. I'm against it, obviously. It's like bullfighting, only with turtles.

I'm southwest of Chicago about an hour.....I'll carpool with ya too. I just watched this video and am mortified. I was hoping the snapper would have taken his hand off. People are sick.
