Tortise help

hey wondering a few question....
first what breed of tortise stays the smalllest
second will a tortise box work indoors
third can a tortise box house more that one tortis OF A SMALL BREED

I think I read one time the smallest breed of tortoise is the egyptian tortoise. I know russians stay kinda small.

by tortoise box I guess you mean those new zoo-med wood setups? I would suppose it might work indoors if you had a UVB and heat sources. But, I dont know if you could ever keep the humidity right for a tortoise in one of these things.

I am pretty sure those tortoise things from zoomed are pretty small, I would only put one.

ok im fine with that how much would you guess go around for an egyptian tortise and i can score a uvb and heat sourse

Honestly, I think egyptians can be hard ot find in the USA (I dont know where you live). I would think you would have better luck finding a russian. The UVB and heat can be bought at any pet store, probably 50 or 60 bucks for both bulbs and two fixtures.

I think Egyptian Tortoises are endangered anyhow... :/

o well well thanks for the support so far im looking at 300 dollars at once just to completely house this turtle and TBH i think thats fair 60vfor lights and stuff idk how much for a tortise box prolly 100 and i do want a hatchling anywhere i could get a hatcling russian??

A Box Turtle. Very similar to a Tortoise, but they do need a little water area.
