Gherkin the picky little Eastern box turtle has finally started trying new foods. He's been taking crickets for a while now. Yesterday he ate a small minnow! The one that surprised me the most is REPTOMIN. I tossed a stick of Pickle's Reptomin in Gherkins water while he was soaking to see what he would do, and he immediately gobbled it up. He seems to LOVE it and would keep eating it if I kept offering it. Is this OK for him? If so should it just be a treat or is it something I can incorporate into his regular diet? It is the only non-live food he will eat so far!

Go ahead and keep offering it. Mine is 4 years old and still won't take pellets. Mix'em in whenever you can and he'll get a vitamin boost.
