I tried frozen blood worms today and he loved it! I'm going to try the really small crickets tomorrow. What would be a good commercial food to try?

Oh, and the spot on his head is a dry spot. he had a bath right before that and the top of his head dried first. the rest of him is wet in the picture.

he wants NO part of the crickets. I got the smallest ones I could find, but maybe they were too big...he seemed kinda freaked out by them, he shut his eyes. I tried some kind of canned "box turtle food" made by zoo med too, and he didn't want that either. I tried throwing some mealies on top to get him interested and he picked off a couple worms and left the other stuff.

Also he seems to pace along the wall of his rubbermaid. I specifically didn't use a glass tank because I read it could stress them out, but the only rubbermaid I could find on short notice a translucent green. i thought it would be dark enough that he wouldn't see much through it, and I'm not sure if he is looking through it or seeing a reflection (it's slightly shiny plastic) or if he just feels protected walking along the edge rather than out in the open.
