Yes, you are right. But I feet the mazuri to my Three Toed twice a week or so. The other days I feed worms, bugs etc and then fruit and veggies. She eats anything you give her, but does love her mazuri.
My water turtule, I feed the regular trout food or rep. pellets.
The Three Toed gets the tortoise food cause my cherry head eats that twice a week too. They live together since they were hatchlings.

I like that last pic Terry! Did you sprinkle calcium on their fruit?

Yes, I did sprinkle calcium on their fruit. They get fruit twice a week, and that is the day that they get the calcium. When they see the fruit, they come running. Because the Cherry Head gets greens all the time, the Three Toed has been eating them for a while also. They are very comical to watch as the tortoise follows the boxie all around.

not all 3 toeds have 3 toes. some non-3 toes have 3 toes. it's not an absolute rule. actually, she looks like a cross-breed.

I have gotten a lot of cross breed responses. So I'm not really sure what to call her. I just went with 3-toed for now.

The doesn't look anything like a Three Toed except for the three toes. She looks more like an Eastern Boxie. So she must be a cross ...eastern...three toed.
