How often do you feed a little hatchling? I think he (she) is about 3 mo. old. I got him Jan 8th....so maybe he was 1 or two mo. old. The breeder didn't tell me. He is always looking for food. I have been feeding him twice a day...2 meal worms in the am, and maybe a red wiggler or two in the afternoon. He nearly jumps up when he sees me coming with the food. I never had a hatchling like this who wanted to eat all the time. I haven't tried any veg. or fruit yet. Is this normal, and how often should I feed him? Thanks for any help.

i fed mine once a day for the first 4-6 months (got them at a couple weeks old), now i feed them on the same schedule as my adult boxies. be careful not to overfeed. rapid shell growth can have more long term effects on these guys than RES.

he's very cute :)
