i have to use a glass tank for now, but i was wondering what to put on the walls so that my box turtle doesnt get stressed?
2 Painted Turtles -- Taska, Crawler
1 Zebra Cichlid -- Ziggie
5 Guppies
1 Box Turtle(shared with friend) -- Sammie

get the tank background. Its paper that can be taped on. They come in all different designs.

is there anything else i could use like colored paper or construction paper of some sort or do i have to buy that background paper?

Lol, tracks, I have construction paper covering the side of the tank where the basking spot is. I picked my turtles' favorite color, too.

If you want to be creative, you could always draw your own design, or have a friend draw a design for you on blank paper. Maybe even print out some pictures off of the internet and tape them around the tank. It'll give your turtle something to look at.
Spike - Egyptian mau mix, 8 years old
Phryne - Japanese bobtail, 9 months old
Hurricane - RES, 8 yo, 6 1/2 in. long
Typhoon - RES/Map hybrid, 8 yo, 7 in. long
Sadie - RES, 20 yo, 10 in. long
Sophie - Colombian red tail boa, 5 yo, 5 ft. long

haha okay thanks, im not really in a high income situation,, just finishing hs so i'd rather bemore creative then high spender haha

You could use construction paper, you could use white paper, you could cut up cardboard and tape it on there. You could get a dry erase marker and draw on there. You could also tape cotton balls on there or leaves or dirt. :lol:

You can put anything on the outside of the tank as it doesn't interact with your turtle. :wink:
