My turtles are just babies at the moment, but they have just learned how to splash. They have been doing it for about 45 minutes now, and I think they are trying to get my attention because I turned out their light. Anybody know why they do it. Sport? Maybe?

I dont think they were hungry, they have some lettuce, and they just got fininshed feasting on some crickets! I think maybe they just wanted their light back on.

Turtles always ACT like they are hungry. They are the best little beggars in the world. Mine do the same thing.. go to the side of the tank and wiggle and splash trying to get my attention for more food. They even do it after they've been fed their daily limit.

Yeah, I kinda feel bad for them though, like I am neglecting them. They do have it good, so they shouldnt be complaining. LOL!

Just think of it as a kid throwing a tantrum because they want something they don't need.. and ignore it
