I was just wondering if RES can eat Minnows and Freshwater Shrimp alive :?:

yep. Chasing minnows is a good way to make sure the turt gets his exercise! Mine can't catch shrimp tho. They're just too fast.

My female RES will do anything to get her claws on shrimp. She even sneaks up on them by getting on her island and diving off. Thats Why I sometimes call her Turtlezilla

Orion - 2.25"

Were 1.3" and 1.4" when I got them on May 12, 2005

I get mine straight from a canal. Im sure some petstores sell them. Maybe... :?

I have seen some crayfish at Petco, I may buy a couple so that they can help with cleaning of the tank. :D

pet stories, they also jack prices up by calling em ghost shrimp. the famous sea monkeys are nothing more than fresh hatched brine shrimp (salt water shrimp) :lol:
