Hi George,

Please contact me soon regarding me adopting one of your (or mybrosteve's) baby rescued sliders. I have made a plan to come out to Philly this Jan 13. weekend to adopt one of the rescued sliders. Please email me at industrial_girl_2000@yahoo.com so I can get some directions to your place & we can finalize a time where I can come to get one of the babies.

(I also sent you a private message thru this board, but I don't know if you got it.)

Thanks!

I think I read something where he is currently out of town. Not sure when he's due back...

Thanks Missi, but that's mybrosteve (Kyle), who I have already contacted via email. He told me he will be home that weekend, but that George is the guy who has more of the rescued baby turts so I should try him first. If I couldn't get ahold of George, then Kyle told me I can nab one of the babies from him.

Looking forward to the trip....am already planning the temp setup. I have some large plastic clear storage containers in my basement & will most likely use one of those initially; just need to buy a small heater, travel container, & basking clamp lamp/bulb. The plan is to get a Reptisun 5.0 bulb. I don't want to buy a filter until I get everything set up so I can see how it all looks (plus there are some nice underwater filters out there that look like rock formations that I am thinking would make a nice basking area for a baby turt!) I got 2 gift cards for Christmas - 1 for Meijer's & 1 for Lowe's ($25 each), which will help defray the cost of the supplies.

I am very excited about this....it is a new adventure since I have never had a hatchling before...!

I'm excited for you! Sorry for the confusion, I thought we were talking about one and the same. Show's what I know, lol.

I can't wait to see your pictures!
