Hey, evryone! Happy New Year!! Hope everyone's start of the New Year has been a good one. Just to let you guys know....my Shea caught a fish this morning!! I put 10 rosies in the turtle tank on 11/11/06 and that day they ate 4, so 6 remained. Until today, Shea ate another one, so we're down to 5. It's been quite a while....almost 2 months. This morning she was swimming; she was focused and chased the fish around and BOOM, she caught one!! I'm so proud of her. I thought those fish were going to stick around forever!!

For those of you that have feeder fish in the tank and think that the turtles will never eat them.....give them some time, they have to be in the mood for fish. So, Shea ate a fish since 11/11 so I figue that my turtles will eat another fish in March.

The feeder fish are named after the NY Yankees?

Shea: (female) named after the Castle (Stadium)
Delgada : (Female) named after Carlos Delgado
Beltran: (male) named after Carlos Beltran

Yep, the Yankees are the rosies and my Mets turtles will eat them up!! The Mets WILL WIN THE WORLD SERIES!!!!! The Mets will sweep the Yankees BIG TIME!!!!
