I was just letting my turtle crawl on the floor for fun. He is starting to shed(the scoots haven't started to peel but they're gonna soon) and I was just feeling the edge of the shell near the head when a tiny little piece chipped off  Will he be okay? :?:
The piece was smaller than a tic tac but it got wet when it chipped  :?

Probably nothing to worry about. Do you have a picture of it?

Even if I had a pic you couldn't see it unless I moved it. The chip is still attached it just got loose.

It's green/brown but what would other colours mean? I'm curious

Well, I don't want you to get paranoid lol

But the same colors could mean different things... white could be fungus or exposed bone. Red could be bleeding or blood poisoning and so on. Usually nothing good but also usually not serious.

It is normal to shed, the more they sun and eat healthy the more they shed. if it comes of almost clear that is also normal. If they don't shed it can be unhealthy.
