So I recently purchased the Cascade 1000 for my new turtles. Now my boyfriend was the one that set it up while I read him the directions but the filter is not very quiet like I've seen from other reviews. And our room for some reason is very murky and damp. Even in bed it seems like everything is moist!! Ew! It's not an A+ room but we've never had this problem before getting the filter and I just worry that it's the cause of the room being damp. We also have an attached bathroom and even if either of us takes showers it's never gotten like this.
Plus we haven't had the filter for that long and we've already got that turtle-y smell. Which adds to the nasty murky room. Help!!!!!
