I'm moving in a about two weeks, does anyone know the best way to transport a RES without stressing her out to much. She really tame but likes to run around alot and to plow over anything or anyone in her path. I already have a smaller plastic tank and padding, and plan to get a thermometer.

How long is the trip? Will you be driving? Usually a dry box, lined with towels is fine and you need to rehydrate her every few hours to let her eat and drink.

The trip is about 5 to 6 days, I already plan to stay in hotels at night and stop to hydrate her every few hours.

That should be fine. They are usually more comfortable when in complete darkness. Are you traveling with another driver?

Ah, OK. My turtles hated to be transported in a box during the day. I often had to pet them or hold them for parts of the trip (to the vet).
