Sadly, I am moving across states and I will not be able to take my red ear sliders with me on the journey. I was told that a good way to find a home would be to put an add on craigslist and I did. After being contacted by an interested party, I started to wonder if this guy could be some kind of creeper that wants to eat my turtles or something. These guys are loved pets and I am very sad to let them go and extremely worried for their well being. Are there any signs to look out for when trying to find them a new home? I had the guy send me some pictures of his set up but that is pretty much the only assurance I have.

I think turtles are cheap enough that people can buy them. My main concern about offering turtles is are people only after their equipment. Have you tried contacting family members?
