Well I was having trouble getting my Japanese to eat, and after two weeks with nothing I choose to call my breeder friend where I got him. Well the friend told me to bring Midori {the turt} over and he would check him out. Well long story short My baby was lonely! Japanese pond turtle's do better when in pairs or groups so I have another one...FREE! This ones name is Jin and adorable! Once home I put them into the water and Midori started eating right away! They follow each other around and everything! Both are doing great now!
Now the FUN part....at my friends house he has 8 LARGE ponds in the back yard, 3 mre on the side of his house, along with HUGE bins on the other side and a WHOLE ROOM that is wall to wall tanks! He has res, columbian sliders, chinese box, snappers, pink belly's, painted, yellow heads, snake necks, side necks....over 200 turtle's I was in heaven! I had no idea the columbian red ears get sooo huge! When I ball my hand into a fist it was the size of their heads! Amazing!
