I can't tell yet if my turtle is male or female, but I have trouble with gender in humans so I figured just as well. With the help of several of my most artistic friends, I've finally decided on the name for my little hatchling.
His name will be Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia. Its the scientific term for fear of Long Words. Ironic huh?
His name will be Hippo for short. Which is funny because the girl who thought it up has three cats, two guiney pigs, and her sister has five frogs. All of whome have names which are the names of animals which the animal is not. The guiney pigs are Panda and Squirrel for example.
I just wanted to know what people thought ^_^ I'm normally the type to name my pets the way I'd name my children, but I'd probably give my kid a nickname like Hippo anyway just to be cute XD.
