Yellow belly male or female

There are so many variable's like overfeeding that can contribute to size and others like the DNA line along with each turtle is different. Most breeds with a balance diet and proper habitat yes at 4-5" could reach sexual maturity in that time frame. I go by the (cloaca) for the sex but I do tell some beginners to pick a unisex name just in case they made a wrong guess. Haha !
PS : with RES's males reach it fast than females and most of us has no idea how old one is unless you hatched it from an egg. Size more than age that's the old school way.
