I thought the spot on the top left look weird. Is it okay? (note it's a pic from a while ago)
I'm just really worried for my turtle because I read a bunch of thing about disease and stuff all at once (Bad idea, really freaked me out  )
I'm 13 and my mom pays for all the turtle stuff and she says my turtle is happy and healthy. :msgreen:
I'm really worried and just want her to have the best life possible :)

I can't tell much from the picture but it does look like very excessive growth... so you're overfeeding way too much.

Yes at the time I was only feeding pellets daily but now I feed her lettuce and and pellets weekly and her growing as slowed down much more.
When I was feeding her pellets she showed no shoulder swelling but she grew fast to 3 inches but its good now because she slowed down.
she still has some of the marks tho

If you get a new pill box (they sort out medicine) and you can plan out the pellets your RES gets. Makes it easier to not overfeed.

I'll try that. So far i've just been grabbing 5-10 pellets and throwing them in the tank. I try to gove a good amount because I give pellets weekly (makes it easier to keep her not fat) :msgreen:

You can use pellets every day, but divide that amount. I don't know what my turtles would do to me if I only gave them pellets weekly

Would she be okay if I kept up with weekly pellets? It'd take a while to get used to giving them daily

i had to edit your post to show the picture. When you use photobucket, under "SHARE THIS PHOTO" just click IMG once and paste into your reply. Is he still around 3"?

You should chart his weight/size regularly for future reference :)
