I just saw the add for this turtle on Kingsnake since its a local. I've been meaning to pop into his store since he is only one I know of who has DBTs here. I'm surprised he has them in the condition they are in and how much he is trying to get.

That's what I'm saying I was really shocked by it all and that probably why the ad is still sitting there on king snake for so long. No one wants to spend a ridiculous amount of money on a turtle in poor condition and one that would take even more $$$ to fix smh!

They are convinced that its just hard water deposits that's what kills me, she's still available for sale online but at that price I'm not touching it! They have a male too but not as bad.

Water deposits can be easily treated with some common household items. Tell them to try it if they're certain.

Plain white vinegar or lemon juice. I haven't tried the juice before, though it should be safe to spot test it.
