Toku has won this war! I was placing his plants almost everyday and he would uproot them before I even left the room!!! I took the skull out cause he was moving it around and it would hit the side of the tank. There were other reasons too but this was the main reason for removing the skull ultimately. Well, as you can see in these pics, I can't keep the plants in place without him making them float, before I can take a pic. But oddly enough he has taken a liking to one plant, in particular. He would uproot the other ones and let this on stay on the bottom (not planted tho), but if I didn't move the other ones he would make this one float within a day or two of the others being uprooted, lol. So I removed the floating plants, and let this plant be. I will take a pic tomorrow. Now Toku's tank is just sand and branches. Oh and this particular fake plant. Oh well, it is his home, he can have it anyway he wants it;) Lol, his personality is so cool! I can remember when he was a hatchling, now he is almost all grown up. Yep, one interesting turtle I tell you!!!!!

Maybe you can create a map, a grid with coordinates or so.
Try a different location for plants. And mark x for failure and v for success. :)

Mine keeps uprooting the longest plant I have in the tank out of its weighted base. He keeps it up and he isn't going to have anything to sleep on
