Just learned last night how to fix the cuttlebone up. So its not that whole peice now.

Thank you for the suggestion I will fill it up to the cut out on the side. I cant fill it all the way because of the cut out. Any suggestion are greatly appreciated.

I'd be concerned with that tank. Was it rated for water (aquarium use)? Or was it meant for sem-aquatic or dry? The cutout can affect the stability of the tank when you put the weight and pressure of water behind it.

It was marketed as a turtle tank. It's made to have a filter hang from the cut out, and so designed to have water in it. Directions say I can fill up to 1-2 in. Below cut out.

I will end up getting a full tank but not for a while.

Great lookin pics! I forgot that my YBS's shell used to be that bright in color. Hers has darkened into a more brownish color now. I kinda like it tho, she gets a lot of compliments on how pretty it is. ;D

Thanks! I love the pattern on Stubby's shell. It's really cool. I know the shell will darken but I hope the pattern will still be visible.

Ok so I tend to spoil any animal I have so I came across a good deal on craigslist and couldn't pass it up so here's my new set up



75 gal filled with 60 gal, 10.0 reptiglo, temporary Aquaclear 500 ( my rena xp4 will be here tonight) my guys are quite happy. This set up should hopefully last a couple of years till I know genders and then I will know how big a tank I need for full grown.
