Overall, Diamondback Terrapins are considered low risk, near threatened, but it certain locales they are threatened. Where we lived in NJ before moving to NJ they were endangered and the preservation was a high priority. Here in GA, they are not considerated threatened. We see them a lot especially this time of year.

Wc dbts are very hard to take care of. They hardly ever take to pellet food and have to be in brackish water or they get funges infections very easy
