I like the cinderblocks used for both hiding and basking. I wonder how they'll hold up over time in the water. Regular bricks don't last long after being underwater.

Iv used cinder blocks even when my turtles were in a tank. they get on them pretty easy. no dmg at all

when i get place of my own i want a pond just like that. that pond looks so diverse. the fish have a hiding place from the turtles from getting them with the egg crate. future planss.... future plans i have many future plans for my turtles

The temps r actually doing better then i thought. The water gets a tad worm to the touch but just incase it gets too much i got this big pool liner that is super thick that blocks the sun from hitting the metal and that keeps it pretty cool. It looks ugly but it works haha ill have to post a pic with the liner up here soon. Also i just added like 60 crayfish and like 8 bluegill from this pond i fish at.

Ooo yes post more pictures. I absolutely love your little softshell although I drove myself crazy looking for him only to scroll down and see the pictures you circled him in *-* All of your turtles look so happy.

Do your turtles eat the fish? I have less than 10 rosy red minnows in my pond that the turtles don't seem to eat. I just noticed a ton of fry swimming around. Fortunately, they usually don't survice long. You have a ton of fish, I can't imagine the amount of fry you are going to have!

they get a few here and there but i recently started fishing at a lake right down the street from me and iv been catching small bluegill n these minnow fish. literally THOUSANDS of fish in this man made lake. caught 185 creyfish last night in a matter of 2 hours
