Apparently Toku Likes his natural sunlight! I caught this shot seconds before he retreated back to the water

Thanks all, I think he is finally hitting a small growth spur. He will get many hours on the weekends this summer to bask under natural sunlight.

I don't need a pond I have one male slider and to be honest I will be surprised if he gets over 6 inches. I have a very large tank for him when the time comes, but for now he isn't even 4 inches. So he doesn't need nor do I want a pond:) I have all he needs to live indoors and have the good life. I bought the pool for the days I don't have to go to school or fly. And I can keep an eye on him so he can get some natural light. Out here in Arizona we get warm weather with plenty of sunshine, even up here in the mountains, it gets nice and warm;)
