Posting a few new ones I took tonight. I'm curious if any of the gurus on here can take a look and tell me if it looks like they are developing properly with shells and stuff. :)

Booger, he was trying to run in this pic so I had to hold him with my thumb. :\

Very cute, they look pretty good to me. Booger seems to be growing faster based on the growth lines in between his scutes. Just watch to make sure if you feed them together that they are both getting an equal share and booger isnt being a little piggy.

Yeah I had to start separating them because he was definitely being a piglet. Steve told me in a different post that it seemed like he was growing kinda fast so its been a couple weeks now that I've started feeding them much less. They seem to be slowing down now based on the measurements. (Booger was growin pretty fast at first, could see it in the measuring tape every week).

Shell issues can take some time to show improvement, but you're on the right path. How much are you feeding them now?

About 5-6 pellets give or take a day. Not sure when I should start feeding every other day? They're still pretty small. For sundays (usually when I do a water change in the tank so they're out of it a little while) I treat them with some of those small shrimp in a can. They love that. Sparingly of course. And no pellets. :)

Its actually a lot less pellets than I was feeding before. I started out feeding them twice a day however many they would eat. Which was way too much I discovered, for now their growth seems to be under control. I think when I get the veggie clip tomorrow I'll start putting the greens in there with them and maybe cut back the pellets to every other day. That is if you guys think its wise. :)

Most people switch to every other day after about 6 months. You can always put leafy greens like romaine, red leaf or green leaf lettuce in there daily if your worried about skipping a day of feeding.

Cool. I will definitely do that. And I'll probably switch at 6 months too.

Make sure you submit that first "up close and personal" photo to the photo contest for next month. That's a great picture.

Some more of my shelled Children. :P lol Basking pictures are so hard for me to get. Usually they torpedo into the water as I approach or just when I'm about to take a pic. Though lately I've been able to walk past them several times w/out them budging. I think they know who I am cause usually when its other people they're in the water hiding.

Snot just to the left of boogies. Camera seems to pick up all the hard water marks on the glass. Blah.
