Yep, you heard me the first time. It's my turtles first birthday today! (Or rather, "bring home day"....) I'm kinda happy coz no other pet has survived more than 3 months after I brought them home. I'm just so happy! I went out to buy a can of grasshoppers for their birthday treat. And sadly, I forgot to buy the pincers thing-y coz the grasshoppers looks gross and I didn't even dare to touch it! So here they are, Iggy and Mocha with their birthday 'cake'! (It's actually my birthday candle from last month.)



And I bought them a new tank on my birthday! Might as well share it although it's ugly and cheap as hell.....

The basking are is made from their old tank. Took me a while to make it sink~

And I notice that this website is very silent like a ghost town, same as the other website that I always visit. It actually creeps me out. Looks like something dark and evil is coming.... Is Voldemort going to return from the dead and take his revenge?

@steve, thanks! If I didn't found this website, I wouldn't know how to properly take care of them! And yeah, what I meant by 'ghost town' is that the usual people that is always active when I joined this website, I've never heard of them now. Maybe it's just me coz I myself haven't visited here for quite some time~

@ nariangel, thanks! Glad you love the picture! I love it too, it's a shame that I only have a phone camera. When I get my own camera, I'm gonna flood this website with pictures of my babies!

@apondfortimmy, yeah! I love it when I capture their pictures and they look like they're smiling! I haven't been socializing with my turts since exam started. I tried taking a picture last night but they already scurried into the water before I can even reach my phone! XD They usually stay and be good boys when I tried taking pictures, before final exam started that is. I won't be meeting them for a month since I haven't figured out how to transport them back to my hometown (which is across the sea). My nephew babysits them while I'm away, he's good at taking care of them~
